The "Pink Slip" protest rally held outside MSG this afternoon drew a lot of coverage, as some of you might have seen on the 5 o'clock local news. There will be a story in our news section.
Isiah Thomas was asked about it before the game and said, "I have no reaction to it."
Lively crowd so far. Eddy already in foul trouble.
Sorry this is late.

Hey Ny'rs:
The best way to affect millionaires is stop making them millionaires. Tell the Dolans you arent going to take it anymore. HOW? Stop attending games. If the aisleways are empty, and no cash is entering their already overstuffed pockets, maybe they will see the light.
Also, if they need to spark to their team, get Gerry McNamara in the lineup. He has been a miracle worker at the Garden.
I want to thank all the protester! You guys helped the Knicks play better than ever! Can you guys do it again? The Cav's are getting crushed! Thanks again protesters! keep it going! Love it!
The Daily Snooze blew it, again.
The 'Bockers are actually kicking some Cav keester.
To All Knick Protesters: Keep up the good work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yeah, Lord Thomas always pulls it off!
The Protesters hurt our Purpose!
I'd like to thank all the Protesters! I'll pay $20.00 a
person to show up every game! The Knicks fed off that tonight,
and I'll invest in you guys for the Knicks to play like that again!
Thanks again! LOL Love you guys!
my joy in watching the knicks play great tonight is more than tempered by the knowledge that the occasional victory like this only prolongs the agony of the isiah era.
i would also like to point out that the cavs, despite having the best player in the world, are actually a very poor team right now (2-9 in their last 11 games). don't be fooled by what you saw tonight knick fans, it's going to be a slow and painful season.
but let's be positive for a change, there is much to celebrate tonight: we didn't have to watch star-jerk at all; we only had to watch curry for 2 minutes in the first half; it became undeniable that the team is best off with lee on the floor; n8 fans rejoice! n8 lives!!
Two very encouraging signs that have been sorely missed. Is it possible that Q is beginning to play his way back into shape after that surgery? There was so much hype over the summer about how well the surgery went, maybe we were expecting too much, too soon. It's been slow, admittedly. But he's been showing signs lately. Another nice 16/7 effort from Q tonight. If he can bring it every night, all of a sudden, it changes the complexion of this team, and it gives the coach a lot more options. Although I still say, play Q at the 2. Find a PG, and start Balkman/Jeffries until you bring Artest. All of a sudden, that’s a legit team.
Second very encouraging sign was the game Lee had. I hate to repeat myself, but I wonder if he also wasn’t quite 100% yet when the season started? The Knicks are gonna win some games when he gives them 20/10.
If these two guys can start playing at the level they were at last year before they were injured (because, let’s face it, neither has come close yet this year), then the new GM can focus on a PG and Artest. All of sudden, the Knicks could begin to resemble the team that generated so much anticipation and optimism before the season started. But the way Isiah is coaching, Lee could get 11 minutes next game. And put up 6/5.
Can’t get too high over one win, or two low over one loss. Low has been the direction for most of this season so far. Still, I’m encouraged. Lee and Q could be a big part of turning this stillborn season around.
Trade Marbury, Curry and Balkman to the Kings for Artest, Bibby and Brad Miller.
Our Starting Line up:
PG-Bibby
SG-Q-Rich
SF-Artest
PF-Zack
C-Miller
Bench:
Crawford
Jones
Jeffries
Lee
With Zack, Artest, or Miller
Players to use in case of injuries or depending on match ups:
Nate
Jerome James
Chandler
Rose
Morris
Mardy
This would be a better passing team with Brad Miller and a smarter team with these 3 players from the Kings. We have to give up something to get rid of Steph. We might have to add a number one draft pick also.
Marbury is the problem guys. Watch......they are going to loose big the next time he plays. He always comes back after a good win then the ball doesn't move well and we go back to playing one on one basketball. Marbury is not a leader and I would prefer to see Crawford and Jones in the back court. Marbury has to go ASAP.
Isiah is not the problem.......but if we continue to loose then he needs to go!!!!
Knicks Fan for Life......GO NY, GO NY, GO!!!!!
