Allen Houston did take 2 shoots and missed them both one was a 3 point shot.......NBA Stat people seem to never have correct stats......another mistake was Fred Jones had 2 steals and they marked him with one

The Knicks seemed flat all night, and were getting killed with backdoor cuts. The pick and roll defense was also horrible. It did not seem like the team wanted to play. Maybe the starting 5 needs a shakeupMaybe have Z-bo and Crawford come off the bench. By the looks of tonight, the Knicks need asome fire from someone in the starting 5. The 2nd unit is scrappy, but there are no scorers on the floor. Maybe start: Marbury, Q, Balkman, Curry, Z-Bo.

Possibly even: Marbury, Jones, Q, Curry, Z-Bo.

May sound crazy, butthese guys need a shakeup.

Q wasn't slowing anyone down tonight.

How do they not play D? Isn't that the coach's primary focus this preseason?

i didnt watch the game or liten to it but i got a play by play on my cell via espn mvp, and i've gotta say this new team aint what i thought it was, my thoughts hough is that isaiah gave minutes to the wrong players, and gave up on the team pretty quickly, what else is new?

also just read the nyknicks.com article and y did lee not play more minutes if he was playing awesome comparably?

This was a good wake up call for our D. NP its just preseason.

David Lee should start over Q. Let Q and Crawford fight it out for the 2 spot. I guess Ray Allen feels this is his last chance. He certainly seems in better shape than he has been inthe past. It ain't over for us. Get Kobe if you can. Sell the farm. With D like this we can sign new players who follow Kobe

Knicks couldn't buy a shot tonight. 25% from the field? I've never seen a field goal percentage that low before. they looked unconditioned out there. boston has speed and skill. kg is the best, i have to admit. he deserves glory for his loyalty to the t-wolves, but he is the enemy now!

i do think that jersey will be more our speed tonight, i heard j. kidd may not playing.

crawford is not the same thus far. everybody seems rusty and slow. did they even run any plays?

FYI: I just finished writing a blog off the game and when I hit send the entire thing was lost, thanks to the Logan Airport wireless. I've got to board my flight in a few minutes (otherwise I'd be throwing this laptop across the terminal) so I'll have to give it another shot when I land.

Conspiracy theory? Perhaps the programmers at the MSG network are clairvoyant!

Why televise the game and make Isiah and Dolan look like bigger asses?
Maybe the Knicks threw the game to give the Celtics false confidence?
Whatever the case, although this is the preseason, the Knicks should have looked to make a statement up in beantown, well
they made a statement allright, that they're like one of the charachters from the Wizard of Oz.
They have no heart.
If they quit in October, what can we expect during the season?

By the way, I don't believe in conspiracy theories, and i'm not sure if I believe in this team as it is currently constituted.

Most of these guys should go get jobs at Oakley's car wash, and learn about effort.

Were the Knicks taking alot of bad shots, or contested shots last night? Or did they have open looks that just didn't go in?

Obviously this team will have to have an inside-out and inside-inside offense this year. We simply didn't get Zach and Curry going last night, and then the guards couldn't hit a single shot. That spells disaster. The Celtics only scored 100 and we didn't turn the ball over that badly...so if we had hit 50 percent, we would have been right in this game.

I don't like David Lee at the 3, he's not a great perimiter defender...I'd rather see Balkman start there, when he gets healthy, and move Q to the 2, let Crawford come off the bench till he learns to play D. The first unit needs an energy guy to do some dirty work.

I like the points about having Q at the 2 Balkman at the three for energy and hustle and Crowford off the bench. Team Passing from the post could improve.

I like Craw coming off the bench as well in favor of Q and Balk. Q is the leader of this team and I love his intensity. The only problem is that means there is less time where craw and curry are on the court at the same time. They have great chemistry and craw often sets up curry for easy buckets which results in A) curry getting going and B) opening up the perimeter and the other block for Zach. Do Q and Balk play good enough D for it to be wise to sacrifice the O? I think so. If Craw wants to start, start playing D!!!!
