Sorry for lack of posts
Sorry for the lack of posts today. I'll try to catch up later. It was a busy day. the NY media took on the Boston media in a baseball game at Yankee Stadium. Sadly, we lost, 9-7, and like A-Rod last night, I stunk. I struck out twice in two at-bats.
More importantly, the Yankees had a disastrous game last night.

kat - even with 2 k's, you had a hell of a day compared to a-rod. perhaps madonna was in attendance. or maybe you were thinking of getting the game over with quickly and wanting to hit up jay-z's 40-40 club.

Kat, Kat Kat; You cannot represent the NY media and strike out twice. I hope their were no RISP. A flaw which is specific to the Yankees but I hope that you had a good time. We can remedy your situation and request a pay raise for you because underperforming ballplayers NY are highly compensated for underachieving.
As we all have watched this year, the team in general has performed horribly with RISP especially Arod and Giambi. They have held their positions in the batting order with Girardi at the helm. I can't justify Arod being moved out of the 4th spot. He is in fact batting .310 with HR production. So sooner or later the ball will hit the bat and another HR will occur. But Giambi should be moved back to the 8th spot.
Many of the bloggers have an issue with Michael Kay. I like him for his candidness and presenting questions to his broadcast partners which are self serving and timely. Such as Arod has 1 RBI this season in the 8th and 9th innings. Yes, I wanted Arod signed and even if he's underperforming. He's IMHO still the best at producing numbers through out the season.
As I feel the season is pretty much over unless a bolt of lightning hits some of the guys. This winter which is coming at us in light speed will be quite intersting. I hope for CC and Tex. but who knows what will occur because of the players mindset about locations and the Yankees concern over long term contracts. But we must get younger.
If, I had a choice Abreu would stay this guy just hits and hustles, Matsui and Damon is a toss up. Giambi adios. Irod adios, he's no improvement over Chad M. Andy P. or Moose for 5th starter. I go with Andy P. I can't believe Moose can do it two years back to back. There is more on this subject but the team has not been eliminated which in my mind is coming slowly and painfully. I hope that I'm wrong.
