You have to admit, that lineup looks a heck of a lot better on paper than what we saw about a week ago. If Cano could be at least consistent, he wouldn't have to worry about his buddy Melky getting traded as the lineup could carry him.
In unrelated news, the Cubs have kicked the holy crap out of the Brewers in Milwaukee this week.
They are leading 9-1 in the 8th inning today and are on the verge of a 4-game sweep.
None of these games have even been close.
Good for them. I'll definitely be rooting for them if the Yanks can't win the World Series.

Say it is so, Jim A, say it is so! We dreamed and it happened. I feel like one of those kids that found the golden ticket in the Wonka Bars. Guess Bosox will be in the rebuilding mode, cause we all know that Bay can be pitched to. Plus Hansen is a young power arm that was finally showing some potential. It is good to be a Yankee fan, especially today. This should help to offset the curse of Bernie. Bernie - please show up on Old-timers Day. Then the curse will be broken.
