Girardi suspended
Joe Girardi was suspended one game for his animated on-field actions in last night's game. He will serve the suspension tonight.
In other news:
*Jorge Posada threw from 120 feet today, and will head to Tampa following the homestand. He could do some DHing/catching without throwing in extended spring training games as early as Monday.
*Chien-Ming Wang is on track to start Sunday.
*Wilson Betemit was sent to start a rehab assignment at Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
*The Mariners scratched Felix Hernandez from his weekend start. Carlos Silva will start tomorrow and Jarrod Washburn Sunday.
