All right, let's try this again. Same lineups, hopefully better weather. It's definitely warmer, and it hasn't been raining too much.
Let's hope for a gorgeous Opening Night.

One more try .... I wish the Yankees would address one thing though. When you go to the Stadium and park and then sit inside for a couple of hours buying food/beer at the concessions and then get told we have a rain-out, the Yankees do nothing for the fans at that point. This is the second time it's happened to me (last year's playoff game vs. Indians as well) ... I understand the concession thing more so (hey, you bought it, you ate it, whatch want me to do???) but the parking thing really gets me heated.
Last year, I paid $40 to park for the playoff game and then "wham bam thank you ma'am" I get no kind of coupon or receipt or anything for parking (or anything else for that matter) for the next day. Just doesn't seem right.
More importantly ... GO YANKS!!!
P.S. if tonight gets rained out, does anyone have a clue as to what they'll try? a doubleheader or simply re-schedule? a re-schedule could be big problems (just think what the M's and Indians had to do last year) so I hope we can squeeze these games in this week.
And, I get to watch it because it's at night!!!! GO YANKS!!!!
The Yanks will start the season by playing 20 games in 20 days...that won't be easy.
Let's Go Yanks!!!
The PTRS Crystal Ball...
Not the strongest outing for Wang-has a few ups and downs surrendering 4 runs in 6 and 1/3rd.
The drama comes in the 8th when Joba comes in after Farnsworth gives up a bomb and walk in consecutive AB's...
With one on an one out Joba tears thru the Jays 3 and 4 hitters striking out both to tremendous applause.
Enter Sandman...1, 2, 3
"And the Yankees win Thaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa Yankeees Wiiiiiin....."
Yankees 6 Jays 4.
Bri...I have a way around your issue. Do what I do and just stay in the parking lot and tail gate until you hear the starting lineups being announced. Bring your food, beer, comfy chair (a big umbrella or tarp for rainy days) and soak in the ambiance. The parking deck next to the stadium is cheap and you can hear Bob clearly. The only thing you would lose if it was rained out is the parking (20) and the gas money. Plus you would get a head start on your way back out!
24 hours from now I will have my grill going, beer chillin in the cooler and waffle balls being blown by my competition! Im like Mo on the mound…ALL CUTTERS!!!! lol
Wiffle balls...not waffle balls...LOL
WOW I really need to proof read before I post.
DRU: I take the subway, but I'm THERE!
