Haha Molina in the 2 spot?

Why?

Jackson, Gardner and Gonzalez should be fun to watch.

McCarthy,
Probably to get him more than one at bat before he comes out of the game. That's just a guess.

That makes sense.

I wonder if they'll get Shelley in there again today. He has been playing really well at the plate and in the field.

I could see him becoming an everyday player at 1st base while also filling in in the outfield from time to time. Giving him a good chance to hit over 30 home runs and add some power to the bottom half of the lineup.

They are looking for speed at the top

Then why the hell did they get rid of Sal Fasano? I bet he could run faster than Molina.

If Doug Mirabelli, Sal Fasano and all the Molina bros. had a race, who would win? I think they should take over as the racing sausages at Miller Park when they are all retired.

I would take Fasano...he would flap his classy stache real fast and fly right by them.

You forgot to add Posada to that race...he looks like Cecil Turtle when he runs.

Take a look at cecil's profile and tell me you dont see Jorge.

DUPE..DOO..DUPE - DUPE..DOO..DUPE.

He's gonna get thrown out at 1st by the RF one of these days. Looks like he's running in freakin quick sand.

Just heard update on the FAN.......only one thing to say.........WHAT A FREAKIN JIKE THAT PITCHING STAFF IS....Hahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahaha

WANG.....Number One......... What a HUUUUUUUUGE joke.

Plan B - Igawa
Plan C - Pavano
Plan D - Chase "4 Gone" Wright.

Beautiful planning by the management that stocked up big time on pitching. I think they are now working on Plan K.

At least he's healthy my mentally challanged friend.

Today's NY TIMES

It is easier to count the regulars who are not hurt — José Reyes, David Wright, Ramón Castro — than those who are. The number of Mets who are unable to play stands at 15, not including Duaner Sánchez and Juan Padilla, who are on their own schedules. On Wednesday, Delgado’s backup’s backup’s backup, Olmedo Sáenz, started at first base.

“I myself have never seen this many injuries at one time,” Minaya said, shrugging, before the Mets defeated the Los Angeles Dodgers, 3-2, on Wednesday.

Still, Minaya had enough confidence in Alou, 41, that he traded both Lastings Milledge and Carlos Gomez, and now the Mets are in need of a potent right-handed hitter for a lineup that is overloaded from the left side. The only in-house options are Angel Pagan and Brady Clark, who figured to be backups at best.

WOW...Im sure the Phillies and Braves are shaking in their cleats.
