Shelley Duncan dominating

The contest between Jason Giambi and Shelley Duncan at first base could be quite interesting. Duncan started at first today, and is 2-for-2 with a double, a home run and five RBIs. He's also made a couple nice plays at first base.
The other offensive stars of the day are ex-Phillie Bobby Abreu, who is 2-for-2 with two runs scored and a stolen base; and Derek Jeter, who is 1-for-2 with a double, a run scored, a walk and a steal (he's on 2nd now). Chien-Ming Wang pitched two scoreless innings, allowing one hit.
It's 5-1 Yankees.

Kat who's pitching for the Phils?

Kat has a bit of a crush on Shelley, I've sensed this since a few weeks ago.

Good luck Kat!

It's very odd to see how consistently the detractors of our team, and even the relatively fair-minded fans of other teams, tend to vanish from this blog whenever the Yankees win -- even a 'meaningless' ST game against college kids.
