I told you guys about Canseco driving 100 MPH through the Arizona State University campus with his "Mr 40/40" Car ... and the Uzi under the seat ...
I don't like how he is lying about A Rod being interested in his ex wife Jessica.
A Rod is interested in that woman from Lost Wages on the cover of the New York Post! Silly Jose!
When I logged on and saw the photo of Matsui with the drawing of the woman ... I thought it was a missing person or something. It seemed terribly odd.
Anyway ... I am ready for the season to start ... I predict another Wild Card, maybe forcing Game 5 in the first round ... Let's hope we don't see Paul Byrd again.
I saw Terry Francona in Japan (via TV) talking about how his team was more tense or out of sorts for that first game in Japan than for a regular season or even a post season game.
Something to that effect ...
The A's pitcher blowing them away with 97 mph fastballs probably didn't help.
I am always leery of these radar readings!
Anyway ... let's get to the first game and see what happens!
I was wondering, is the MLB like the NFL, in that when there are the final cuts, all kinds of good players are available. Any bargain basement guys we can pick up?
I still think we should bring Billy Koch back into the fold. He is from West Babylon and has some rare disease called Morgellons. Rense.com did an article on him ... very strange. But he would be a great addition. Then he can take Joba's role. He has a better arm than Joba even.
And why can't Mike Piazza get a job? I like him a lot! Why can't we sign him? He'd be a great pitching or hitting coach, great receiver, great at calling a game, the best at balls in the dirt ... and what a beautiful and forgiving person. (IE Clemens). From Philly. Ex Met. Just pick up the phone and call him ...
I guess we AREN'T getting Eckstein, Josh H., Bard, Piazza, Sowers, Cliff Lee, Ankiel, Colby Rasmus or Ludwick? Or Brandon Phillips. If only Cashman would listen to me ... we could have saved like US$ 450 million A Rod, Mo and Jorge alone!
And Diane my erudite, increible hermosa Spanish flower (and part-time teacher), will this suffice for my Spanish homework?
You are my favorite Spanish teacher ever!

Someone said on the Blog the other day that they had never heard of ANYONE throwing 100 pitches in a Spring Training Game.
Add to that the warm ups and in between innings tosses ... 8 I believe?
Here it is ... From Yahoo! Sports ...
