Good luck today to the New York Yankees...

Hankee, go home!

M from J, you're back!!! Great to see you in the 'blog lineup' again.

Had difficulty finding the blog this morning, you guys know I'm often an early morning poster -- all I could find was general chaos, I finally e-mailed Kat, and hurray for our Kat, she e-mailed me right back. It lessened my frustration to know she was already on the case and letting the geeks hear about it! I very much hope they know at Newsday that Kat O'Brien is not one to lose in the staff cuts!

Hey, made me realize that I'd miss you guys if this place got lost in the shuffle.

Hope those who get to see the guys in person will keep the reports coming, it's great to get personal impressions of how they seem. Yeah, it's early, but for those of us who follow ST, it's always early when we start noticing, and every year is not the same.

By the way, Olney on one of those ESPN video clips picks the Yankees as the AL team most likely to be a pleasant surprise this year -- thinks they're looking good and may play the whole season as well as they played the second half last season.

Not to gloat, but did I tell you or did I tell you -- no reason to expect less this year from a team largely unchanged from the group that did so well in the second half last year.

I'm grinning.

Diane

Ear to Ear.

Other than Kei Igawa's grandslam I've heard nothing but great news coming out of camp.

In fact I'm tempted to raise my level of cautious optimism to orange from it's October thru January level of yellow hah.

PS. They can't get rid of this blog. Anthony would have nowhere to spew his wildly inappropriate nonsense and I'd have to start actually doing "work" while I'm at work.

No chance. I'm all over it ;-)

Good to know that, Gilooley.
