The Yankees now have a 2-0 lead on the Red Sox. Robinson Cano hit another solo home run to leftcenter field off Schilling. Red Sox are still in search of their first hit. It's midway thru the 6th.

Now, hopefully, we won't have a letdown against Tampa Bay.

Youk's head is so big it has a gravitational pull of its own - curious if MLB will suspend Joba.
He got tossed Chip so I guess he's getting suspended. Isn't that the rule?

i think a suspension is given if a pitcher throws at a hitter after both benches have been warned. That wasn't the case here.
But they're cracking down on manager's uniforms, so who knows?
I can't think of a reason for Joba to headhunt Youkilis, unless Youkilis' jawboning earlier in the game had something to do with it. Joba HAS been a control pitcher until now.
It's weird, but maybe it keeps hitters from digging in against him from now on.
How does 1/3 if an inning factor into Joba rules?

If they don't bend the rules, my guess would be that they'll round that 1/3 up so in effect, it would count as 2 innings pitched.
I don't care if he doesn't face Tampa Bay. The other guys in the pen should be able to do the job against those guys.
What bothers me is that if he does pitch against Tampa Bay, then he would only be available for one game against Seattle.
