« Lineup vs. Red Sox | Main | Yankees lead 3-2 after Derek Jeter's homer »

Yankees lead 2-1

The Yankees have a 2-1 lead going into the third inning. They scored two off Daisuke Matsuzaka in the first. Damon led off with a single and advanced to second on a sacrifice bunt. Abreu walked and Rodriguez was hit by a pitch. Matsui beat out a fielder's choice to score Damon. Then Posada doubled down the left field line to knock in Abreu.

Manny Ramirez led off the second with a solo homer just over the right field wall off Pettitte.

Hope one of our pitchers retaliate for them hitting A-Rod.

We need the bats to wake up. Andy is keeping us in this. WAKE UP BATS!!!!!!!

He's thrown a lot of pitches, but he's getting the job done.

If we can push a few across we'll be in good shape.

3 hits last night 2 hits tonight.

This is getting on my nerves.

DER-EK JET-ER!!!!
