Yankees lead 9-3

Sorry I didn't get to post the lineup. There have been a lot of extra events today, press conferences and so on. The Yankees lead 9-3 in the bottom of the fourth inning. They've already hit four home runs, though unfortunately for the many people snapping pictures of Alex Rodriguez's every at-bat, none have been by Rodriguez. He still has 499 career home runs, after just lining out to the right field wall.
Bobby Abreu, Hideki Matsui, Robinson Cano and Melky Cabrera have all homered for the Yankees.

I have to say that the most remarkable change that I have seen is the intense, rejuvenated, youthful spirit of the dugout. Gone is the stoic nods and reserved bash fives. What's happening now is an energized explosion of fun. This makes me VERY HAPPY. Got a Tivo? Watch how Bowa reacts after Cano made that great stab in the fourth.

Add Jorge to the homer list!

oh no!!!! Its the 6th. The Pen time. I get it. We will score 10 or 11 runs every night and give up 9. WE DONT NEED NO STINKIN GAGNE.

Just my two cents: It's okay for you guys to skip the lineup for more interesing news. We can always skip to other sites for lineups (e.g. yahoo sports) On the other hand, you guys have 'immediate' access to players, Torre, Cashman, etc. These are things that we can't get fast from generic sites or bloggers.

uhh, Doug, the score is 16-3. Guess you're watching a different game.
