A-Fraud will never hit another home run again. Such a weak, mentally fragile player.
A-Fraud hitting into a DP during a bases loaded situation? I, for one, am shocked!
Knock it off RSF
LOL
A sox fan policing one of his own.
I love it.
Well done sully.
Sorry, just having a little fun.
I'm sure Yankee fans want Alex to break the record at home anyway, and it's obvious he'll lead all of baseball in home runs and RBI.
Yeah, sorry about that guys.
Alex will break the record at home, it looks like, so that should be cool for Yankee fans.
Joba movinng to the bullpen according to Kay.
Does this mean Proctor or Farnsworth is gone?
a rod is on steroids!
Kei Igawa could do ok for Seattle in the pen. He will have more Asians on the team to talk with and also they have a big Japanese fan base. As I said many times, various teams want a certain mix. He will have a Japanese catcher and that will help him too.
Lucy is right, in a different role he could do ok. He has some talent. Put him in relief.
Viper said we are seeing results from the farm system? Is it pitching? I haven't seen much but Hughes was hurt ... Karstens and Rasner are decent, not great.
We need to see more of
Hughes
Joba
Kennedy
Marquez
Smith
Britton
Henn
Brackman
Carpenter
Olhendorf
Sanchez
Edwar R.
Karstens
Horne
Rasner
Betances
Chase Wright
That's like 16 guys. How many do you need?
... I think we see more of them before we can understand whom to keep, whom to deal and will they be a success for a few years?
Joba and Hughes and Horne and Kennedy should stay.
It is hard to fathom that Colorado, the Brewers and even Houston (Hunter Pence) have a better offensive core.
But I've heard we have good position players in the low minors ... maybe it will all work out.
I really hope we make the playoffs this year ...
And if we get rid of Kei and Farnsy, that would be great, Damon and Abreu too ... Matsui is just so so ... and if they don't sign Posada and Mo, what will happen?
Nudge offered us an ugly lineup of the future last week. Will that take shape or will be make good moves?
Having Sheff this year would have helped. But we will survive without him.
Go Yankees!
Final Thoughts on Crime: What was Michael Miliken's excuse? (Rich, upper class). Spiritual poverty. (James 4:4) But BB is right, ALL crime is horrible! Yet clearly almost 300 million Americans care more about Michael Vick's dogs than Channon Christian and Abeer Hamza.

Will this year produce a terrible deal?
please buy my book so I can make lots of money...so what if I am bitter liar and just looking to get back at people I hate cuz they din't defend me when I accuse innacent people so I can ruin their lives to make money. buy my book all you fools...I means friends...while I go hahahahaha all the way to my bank
Let's go Mets!
Learn how to spell fool!
that was done purposely, you dumba$$
red sox just lost to lowly Tampa Bay. Yankees swept Tampa Bay with a million runs. Let's go Yankees
I'm back from vacation and I get to turn on the TV and watch our boy Kyle Farnsworth try to give back a 6 run lead.
Addition by subtraction....please get rid of this guy!
"Viper said we are seeing results from the farm system?"

The Yanks have two of the best stud pitching prospects in all of MLB -- with Kennedy highly-touted as well.
Every major scout says that the Yanks have the best assortment of young arms of any farm in MLB.
They had nothing just two years ago.
I'd say that's pretty good progress.
I hate to say this but unless the Tigers are still interested, we're not getting rid of Farnsworth(less)...
Tampa traded for four relievers yesterday...
On another note, I might try Igawa in the bullpen before I deal him. He only makes $4-5 million a year and with $20m already invested, its not too late to pull out all the stops and try to salvage the investment.
As bad as he is, you have to admit, he can make bats miss from time to time. And he can't be worse than what we have in the pen already.
About Carlos Zambrano. He should get around 7 years/$130m.
Signing him might be contingent on our current players' deals.
This includes A-Rod opting out, Mo and Jorge getting new deals, Abreu having his option declined, Pettite accepting his option, and Cano and Wang getting new deals.
I'm really curious to see what they give the latter two. If he got on the open market, Wang would command no less than $14m per.
I think Robbie could fetch at least $8m per from someone.
Is this the year they finally get million dollar deals?
In the end, I think at the least minute, Cashman submits to Boras' demands and agrees to pay A-Rod $30m annually for 7-8 years. I think that Pettite will pick up his option for $16 or $17m. I think we decline Abreu's option OR pick it up and trade it (a la Sheffield but with a far lesser return). Mo and Jorge both resign for around 3 years/$10-$11m.
By the way, there was a rumor in the clubhouse before yesterday's game that the Yankees and Orioles were talking about a deal that moved Damon and Farnsworth to Baltimore for Corey Patterson, Danys Baez and Steve Traschel. Probably untrue but interesting nonetheless. I knew we had talked to the Braves about Damon but didn't realize that he might be some sort of commodity.

Secret Weapon for both Yankees and Redsox is Carl Pavano and Matt Clement...
If Cashman can get rid of damon or farnsworth he'd be a savior
