Pavano proclaims himself healthy
Carl Pavano threw a bullpen session for the first time since he was drilled in the left foot by a liner Saturday and said he's ready to pitch. Pavano threw all of his pitches today and said he is "excited" for his first spring training outing on Sunday.

Did anyone catch part of the Red Sox vs Twins last night? Schilling looks like he spent the winter trying to get as much trans fat in his system as he could before they outlaw it everywhere. His arm still works though, he didn't seem to hurt it when he was patting himself on the back.

That's right Roy, we haven't heard from bronx bomber and Alvaro for awhile. Are you two out there? And atticas, come in atticas.
My bullpen: Rivera, Proctor, Vizcaino, Villone, Bruney, Britton, and a long man from among the kids (Karstens, Rasner, etc).
Note that once a week Farnsworthless and one batter Myers are gone. These are two wasted roster spots.
just so u guys know, the best innings today will be #3-4 where Hughes will take the mound :)
I believe atticas was late for class, and was "shrouded" by Kingsfield.
Rick : I don't see either Rasner or Karstens being long middle relievers,I think T.J.Beam will secure the job w/ a good spring...Karstens will inherit the 5th spot in the rotation ...or Rasner ...I would like Fartsworth and Myers moved ...if Bruney can't find the plate during ST then we'll have to rethink this...
I think the pen that opens the year will be:
Rasner/Karstens, Villone, Farnsworth, Myers, Rivera, Proctor, Vizciano
At some point though Bruney, Britton, Beam et al will be important pieces to the puzzle.
Torre is on record yesterday as including Farnsworth & Myers into the projected 2007 bullpen. It's only March 1 and he's committed to sending down guys all ready?
I hope I'm wrong, but I think Torre is out of touch with reality & is living in 1997 NOT 2K7. This season has the potential to be a #%*@!roller coaster. Please make it get stuck at the top. . ..
