Today it's Derek Jeter's turn to address his friendship-turned-coexistence with A-Rod. Can't imagine Jeter will enjoy it, considering he likes talking about controversial stories as much as we all enjoy the dentist. Today is the first full-squad workout, so we should know for sure Bernie isn't coming. Here's our newspaper stories:

Talk about misleading sensationistic tabloid headlines. What has happened to Newsday? I remember the Pulitzer Prize winning years.
There is no controversy. The relationship between the two has evolved into what it is today, a professional working relationship.
Jeter already responded to this months ago. There is no story.
This is baseball, not a reality show. Am I alone in understanding the difference?
I agree, Peter Abraham has the whole interview posted on his blog and it's really not very controversial and ARod did not say they were no longer friends or anything like that, but of course I knew after listening to it last night that all the NY papers were going to be running ridiculous sensationalistic headlines. You would have hoped Newsday would be different, but there you have it. The more I hear the actual interviews in their entirety on Abraham's blog, the more I have found further evidence to never trust any of these papers. Is it asking too much to have a little truth, even if it does get in the way of the story you want to run?
Great points Anthony.
I can't believe NEWSDAY would run a headline titled "Fractured Friendship" what a pile of crap .Gives me good reason to bow out of this blog...
