How many days a year do you think the gametime temperature greater than Bob Sheppard's age? Not too many, I think.

No offense, but that photo and the temperature question was very offensive. It's rude and not good journalism. It is beneath both Bob and yourself, two good people.

It staggers the mind to think of how many games Bob Sheppard has announced since 1951 for both the Yankees and up until last year, the Giants.
As the years have gone by it must have been a thrill for a player to hear his name announced by a legend. His style has never changed.
Before his time has arrived to leave this earth, fans should record his voice from the P.A. system as a momento of a man that can't possibly be replaced.
