I hope he doesn't go the Jimmy Piersall route and climb the backstop. The harder A-Rod drives himself, the worse he plays. He is now in an endless cycle culminating in misery everyday. He should be in the outfield, or traded. People may boo and laugh, but this situation is headed in a direction that could get ugly very quickly.
Please stop the the obsessive focus on A-Rod.

btw, The idea of putting him in the OF is ridiculous. His weakness as always been on fly balls.
He should be returned to SS, where he has far more range than Jeter.
With A-Rod committing many errors, especially throwing errows to first...the yankees should consider moving him to second base. Cairo can play 3rd and when Cano comes back they should try him at 3rd base. He is young and new to the majors he can play a new position.
