5 innings, 1 hit, no runs. Yup, trade him for Carlos Lee. Idiots.
yea he retired the first 14 batters he faced. wonder why he only pitched 5
His pitch count was high his last time out.
Please, do not trade him!
carlos lee did pretty good today
We hear a lot lately about scouts from various teams showing up in Trenton. They can look but Philip Hughes and Brett Gardner should be untouchable. Gardner is a young Damon and the CF of the future. Everybody knows about Hughes.
ummm lets just see if the yankees trade phil hughes they could turn into the red sox of this century.......the bambino anyone?
anyone know Philip Hughes web site address. I would appreciate receiving it. Thanks folks
I'm Phil's cousin- don't think he has a website up yet, but I'll find out and post it if he does. The Yanks are lucky to have him; our hometown Angels passed him up, and they're rueing it now. I think that Cashman and Steinbrenner are smart enough not to let him get away...
Here's his website:

WHO'S RANDY JOHNSON WHEN YOU HAVE A KID LIKE PHIL HUGHES
WHO NEEDS RANDY
I read where he freely gives autographs if you send a stamped addressed envelope...anyone have an address?
