Wiz Wit vs. Provolone

This has nothing to do with the Phillies, and everything to do with Philadelphia, and more specifically with South Street.

Found myself at a crossroads a little while ago. After devouring a cheesesteak with cheez whiz and onions (wiz-wit for the unfamiliar) at Jim's, I sat trying to decide what to do next: Just be satisfied with the sandwich I enjoyed or forge ahead and have another. We've all been there.

Of course, I hadn't finished my research, which involved the Inky's World Series section, so I chose to step back in line and go provolone for dessert.

Two observations:

-- There really is no need to have a second cheesesteak. You always regret it. Always.

-- You must get Cheez Whiz. But if you're allergic or something, then get American. Provolone is not the right cheese for a steak. It just isn't.

Hamels vs. Kazmir tonight. Do Mets' fans pull for Kazmir, the prodigal lefthander, or prefer him to fail? My guess is that with every Kazmir win, it's like rubbing your tongue over a toothache. It hurts, but you just can't resist. So dig up those Kazmir No. 19 jerseys for tonight's game.

OMAR .... Hope you are enjoying the World Series.

Hope you realize how clueless you really are. Notice how big the hidden gems come up for CLUTCH Teams ..... The Werth's of the world...The bullpens...The situational hitting....CLUTCH PLAYERS !!!

Unlike the garbage you put on the field and spend like a drunken sailor year after year.

FIRE OMAR...SELL THE TEAM !!

FO,
Hopefully next year at this time your biggest issue is that your Boston neighbors all hate you because your Mets are World Champs and Jets have knocked off Pats at least twice in a row. (I know I am a dreamer) And I hate to bust your bubble, but Werth's average with RISP has been horrific, but I know what you mean, I would take him on my team.

Are you kidding! Lived in South Philly for a number of years and it was Geno's and Pat's' and "provolone wit'
