Dodgers lose; Somewhere, Schoeneweis giggles
Couldn't shake the feeling of Deja Vu I had last night watching the eighth inning of last night's Game 4 of the NLCS. Dodgers up, 5-3, only six outs to go to even the series.
-- Hong-Chih Kuo gives up single to Ryan Howard.
-- Corey Wade allows two-run homer to Shane Victorino.
-- Jonathan Broxton tees up two-run homer to Matt Stairs.
Swap those LA relievers for Pedro Feliciano, Scott Schoeneweis and Luis Ayala, and you have any number of Mets' losses this year. The difference is that the Mets bullpen was expected to implode. What happened last night at Dodger Stadium was truly stunning.
With Cole Hamels starting for the Phillies tomorrow in Game 5, I'm not optimistic about LA's chances.
