So Jerry got Castro to suck it up and play. Santana needs to channel his inner Harvey Haddix and go 12 innings if necessary.
It is good to see that Murphy will never get an opportunity to play against left handers. The guy is hitting almost .500, why not give him a chance to hit against leftys too?
CP, you are looking at the Murphy situation in a vacuum. With Nick Evans around, you've gotta get him some at-bats as well. Certainly Tatis won't come out vs. the lefty, so you go with Murph.
CP, I was thinking the same thing, but then thought Evans is hitting like .400 against lefties, so play him.
