Ramon Castro was placed on the DL with a strained right quad. Robinson Cancel and Nelson Figueroa have been called up.
The Mets have not announced who will be demoted for Figueroa.

Would love to see them just cut Schoenweis if they need a roster spot...

Argenis Reyes has been optioned to New Orleans. Reyes can return Sept. 2, the day after the Zephyrs’ season ends.
The offense put the bats away after the 3rd inning.
I told anyone that was near me that the Phils, down 7-0, had the Mets right where they wanted them.
What a shame.
