Wagner re-evaluated; has MRI this morning
The Mets, apparently still concerned about Billy Wagner's left shoulder, ultimately did send their aching closer for an MRI this morning. According to PR guru Jay Horwitz, the tests showed "no structural damage" and the diagnosis is a "muscle spasm" around the pitching shoulder. His status is day-to-day, but it is not known what his availability will be for tonight's game against the Phillies.
