Right.
Though I wish he did it was a fastball to the gut.
he was right in my book - getting more rattled as the game went on looked like it did get his performance on the mound though. i hope the mets give him 1 or 2 more starts to right this ship. he did a lot to get here. while his last 2 starts were subpar, he came out of the gates well and he is getting the grunt work (skipped in rotation, pitching in inclement weather, etc.) and the defense hasn't exactly stepped up when he takes the mound.
the chips ae stacked against him so i look at the outburst to the nats as a dual forum - one because they shouldn't have been playing the bush leage game and two to vent out frustrations. you only hope he gets another start and/or remains as the long man in the bullpen because you do not want to go out like that after beating the world to get back on the mound. you also want staying power in future years and you do not want to league remembering the unraveling due to a bunch of school children...
