Storm clouds over Shea; today's lineup

That's not a metaphor. The sky is dark and the wind is starting up. Thunderstorms are on the way.

Here's the lineup against lefty Andrew Miller. It's a straight-out-of-the-second-week-of-spring-training special.

Carlos Delgado gets the night off. Still-the-manager Willie Randolph says he's thinking about sitting him tomorrow too.

Reyes SS
Castillo 2B
Wright 3B
Beltran the bunter CF
Easley 1B
Tatis RF
Castro C
Evans LF
Santana P

Pedro Martinez is on schedule to start tomorrow for St. Lucie. If all goes well, he'll probably pitch next week in San Francisco.

The Mets are getting as bad as the Islanders.

Please, no more Castillo!

Am I seeing things or is Willie starting two rightfielders?

Odd. Evans is a natural 1B so you'd think they'd have given him the start at First....but glad to see Easley and Evans both in the lineup against the Lefty in Miller, we might stand a chance at some Offense tonight.

Since Willie has never seen Evans play 1B, he probably doesn't trust him to play 1B in a game, so put him in the field. Plus he is probably a better fielder then Easley in LF. Kindof of said how we really have 2 natural infielders playing the outfield...and I hope they don't get hurt because there is no one off the bench...

Look at this line up....Now you know why we need to Fire Omar!

No bench...No youth...No Clutch Hitters...No Leaders....No power....No nothing!

**Obviously Duquette waas fired long before 04, but if you know anything, you know it was Theo that shocked the world and traded Nomar ***

We need a GM with the same imagination and vision....Send Reyes some where packing!

I don't like to see them panicking and rushing Pedro. 1 rehab start? Take your time with him, hes fragile.
