Yes, The Metropolitans have a chance to do something tonite that hasn't been done often enough - Win 2-straight. The last time these Mets put together the easiest winning streak possible - 2-games - they put 24-runs on the board, and displayed a wink of hope.
Two-weeks later, they have yet another chance to start a winning streak, with whom better to do it against than those Damn Yankees. A chance to win a mini-series in effort to continue their winning ways into a 4-game series with Atlanta. Huge.
Winning 2-games against the Yankees in this shortened subway series is acceptable - yet, winning 2-games versus the Bravos will not be. It's time for some true series victories.
