Joe Torre visits Tradition Field this afternoon, only it's with the Dodgers, not that other team in town. I know Willie Randolph shared a clubhouse with Torre for nine years in the Bronx, and was his bench coach as well, but there's no doubt the Mets manager is more comfortable now that Torre is no longer wearing pinstripes. On top of that, Randolph was probably thrilled when Torre quickly signed on with the Dodgers, rather than hanging around to see what kind of start the Mets get off to this season. That would have been awkward.

I know everyone was excited about Johan Santana's first spring training start on Friday. Don't sweat the results. Might be a good idea to see how Duaner Sanchez is feeling this morning.
