Wright on Clemens

Saying he "didn't set his TiVo for it" David Wright basically caught a few highlights of the Roger Clemens-Brian McNamee hearings that caused a national sensation on Wednesday.

"You've got to be out of your mind to cheat the system now," Wright said. As for the hearings, he added, "You want some closure to this. To me, it's history. It's in the past. It's obviously something that was important for baseball to get out of the way."

Wright is among a handful of players who already have moved into the major-league clubhouse at Tradition Field this morning, along with Mike Pelfrey, Oliver Perez and John Maine.
