No Puerto Rico trip for Mets

rico.jpegGood news for Mets fans in South Florida. The July 28-30 series against the Marlins will not be moved to San Juan, Puerto Rico. It's staying put at Dolphin Stadium and tickets are now on sale.

For those of you who were looking forward to seeing the Mets at Hiram Bithorn Stadium, sorry about that. Look at the bright side -- the Mets might be better off. They went a combined 2-5 during their two trips to Puerto Rico in 2003 and 2004, when the Expos played there.
