What a ninth inning!

Guess I'll answer my own question from below: If you bought a ticket and stayed until the ninth inning, you feel pretty good right about now.
Predictions for the Subway Series?

mets sweep

Yeah...I wish I could have been there. It would have been nice to see it in person. Prediction for the Subway Series...Mets 2 out of 3 and to top it off...Braves lose 2 out of 3. How sweet it would be?

predictions? - very few tie games

Yes sleep assault, I am too dreaming. Perhaps we are reincarnated from gerbils. I am the furry Gerbil, you are the furry Gerbil. We are the furry Gerbils.
The wave flows in.
The wave flow out.
My little furry friend.
I love the Mets,
I am new to this country.
I am going to cheer for the Mets to beat the Yankees.
I curl now into the petals
of blue and orange flowers.

If the Mets sweep, Torre gets fired. So I think the Yanks will rally around him and take two of three -- one in dramatic fashion. But God a Mets sweep would be sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet!

The Mets should sweep. But the Mets never sweep anyone anymore. So I'll say 2 out of 3.
Of course, the Mets dont hit Pettitte well, Ollie is in line for a loss in his win-loss-win-loss streak, and the Mets always turn rookies and major-league-debuters into Cy Young for a day, so we could even be swept :)

How can you say the Mets don't hit Pettitte well, they haven't even faced him since 05?!

2 of 3 works, but a sweep would make Monday a fun day to talk to Stankee fans at work.

Heard that Adam Bostick was called up. Any truth to that?

How can you say the Mets don't hit Pettitte well, they haven't even faced him since 05?!

============================
if memory serves, they faced him last year with the Astros

I was speaking somewhat in generalities, as obviously teams and players change, and he's a couple of years older than the last time we faced him. But, since you asked, do you know how many times we've beaten him? ZERO.
4-0 career record against us, with 4 no decisions. 1.90 career ERA against. 39 hits allowed in 52 innings. Shut us out for 7+ in three of his 8 starts. Never allowed more than four runs, and the one time he allowed 4 runs, he won the game. In 8 starts, we've scored 2 or less against him 6 times. So yeah, we don't hit him very well.
Except for tonight, when we hang the "L" on him.
I hope.

Message to Petitte: The Mets are hitting lefties beter than righties this year.....too bad Alou is on the DL. Both Carlos Beltran & Delgado are hitting better against lefties. Having said that, I still would be happy with 2 out of 3. That would prove devastating to the Yankees.

I hate to say it folks.
I am a die-hard Met fan.
If it was socially acceptable,
if women found it attractive,
I certainly would have NY Met bedsheets in my bedroom.
Pillows too.
But it would be considered "wierd" so I don't.
Why do be people judge us die-hards?
But be this as it may,
I have to admit to the blog,
that I adore Andy Pettitte
I always have.
I think he could have been a great Met if he had not gone to Houston. Sorry.

GO METS!!!!!!!
