Isn't there a rule that requires teams to keep the same roster composition (e.g., 11 pitchers and 14 batters) that they had on Aug 31?
Pip, i dont think so...they can do whatever they want with the team as long as the player had played with them before august 31. or something like that.
Dave...If Cliff Floyd's injury recurs, can the Mets replace him with Lastings Milledge in the NLCS and or the World Series ?
The World Series...yes, but the roster for the NLCS was due at 10am today, and cannot be changed.
Do we have the St. Louis roster? I heard rumor that Marquis is left off, which would mean Reyes pitching game 4, but haven't seen it anywhere.

boy I am such a silver- tongued b*st*rd. Well, that was my good deed for the day. I am glad Floyd is on the roster. He is the Mets spiritual leader. He has one more big friggin' hit in his bat, I hope it comes against Wainright a-la Howard Johnson vs. Tim Worrell.
I hate to say it but I wanted Marquis to pitch well (but the Cards lose of course). He's a nice guy and a local boy so I kinda was pulling for him.
