No word on Pedro

Well, the wait continues for an update on Pedro Martinez's strained right calf. Martinez was examined today at the Hospital for Special Surgery, and did undergo an MRI, but team physician Struan Coleman had yet to look over the test results. The Mets expect to have a more thorough diagnosis of his condition on Wednesday.

Struan Coleman had yet to "look over the test results"? Does he have something better to do? We're in a playoff run and he can't be bothered to view the MRI results for our slugging outfiedler? This guy should be fired immediately. What a joke.

As for Straun Jackson, I know him and I've been a patient of his. I have to say one thing about him and that is he is NOT prompt. Not even in the least. Once I had an appointment with him - i had scheduled it in June and it was for November and when i got there i found him eating a jelly donut in the cafetaria 20 minutes after our appointment was scheduled. 20 minutes after that he finally saw me. I wont forget that day.
