More Lima Time?

Indications are the Mets are leaning toward Jose Lima as their starter for Thursday’s game in St. Louis and Jeremi Gonzalez for Friday’s Subway Series opener against the Yankees at Shea. That would give Brian Bannister more time to rehab from his strained right hamstring and give Pedro Martinez an extra day between starts after his 107-pitch outing on Sunday. Martinez would pitch Saturday and Tom Glavine on Sunday.

THANK GOD....It is about time this mess is finally over. Zambrano was the biggest mistake in Mets history in the past 20 years. The only two people who liked him were Jim Duquette and Rick Peterson. Now it is time to close the door on this mistake and move forward. Good riddance and good luck.

Lima will get bombed by STL. It's ok though because we have some wiggle room with an easy schedule in the next month and a good early season record. Let's just make sure everyone gets 100%!

I would trade a Mets loss on the next day Lima pitches just so we can get him out of here. I don't like his theatrics and I especially don't like his pitching. He's washed up, just like his hair.

Peter Gammons yesterday on Baseball tonight call Scott Kazmir Tampa's Dontrell Willis. So good bye Zambrano, you were a big Zero. You did nothing for us other than tear our hearts out. Good luck and good ridance.

I hate shea stadium the one speaker in outfield blows with the wind u can never hear the full message the players r the size of ants how can the mets treat their fans like crap we pay most of their salary and that's how they thank the fans
