Kill Bill, Vol. III

By Mark La Monica

It's been more than 24 hours since the Jets stuck it to the Patriots in Foxboro. That's more than enough time to settle down and return to normal life.

But then I saw these pictures, and oooh, they're gems.

Is Mr. Happy Pants crying because he's about to lose to Mangini?

And then he has no use for his protege. Mangini should have just clocked him in the grill and yelled, "How you like me now?" We could pass around an e-hat and drum up some coin for his bail if he did that.

The only imagery better than this will be if and when Mangini sticks it to Belichick in the playoffs one day.

talk about white knuckling!

Biggest win since the playoff game in San Diego 2 years ago....Mangini is best signing since Curtis Martin.

BIG WIN for the Green & White. I know this is a case of shoulda, coulda, woulda, but if only we could have hung on to the lead against Indy and the call came our way against the Browns and we could have won in OT, we would be in FIRST PLACE!!!! 7-2. This leaves a bad taste behind. But, I'll take where we are. We just need to keep playing Jet football and we can more wins under our belt.

Dumb luck for Mangini. The Pats will commence cleaning his clock again next year.

The reason the Pats let Mangini go is that he isn't capable of mastering the Patriot's systems.

belichek has been belittling mangini since he left new england to join the jets. Or so we thought. The fact is belichek is telling everyone that of all his former underlings, Mangini is the one he fears the most. Belichek has never disrespected Romeo Crenel, or Charlie Weis or Nick Saban the way he has disrespected Mangini either before or after games. It could be because mangini is in his division, but so is Saban. It could be because Mangini went to the patriots rival. But then why give him the permission to speak to the team? In reality, the often cool and smooth-handed belichek is tipping his hand on this one. He's saying "the Jets pulled one over on me." So be proud Jets fans, Belichek is afraid of Mangini as a coach.

Belichick is pissed because the Jets paved the way for Branch to leave for Seattle by offering him a big contract. He's hardly warm and fuzzy but neither is Mangini. they both do what it takes to win.
