The British are coming ... to rent in the Hamptons

Some 19 percent of all summer rentals at Town & Country Real Estate are to people from overseas. And so far, the British are leading the pack, followed by Germans, Irish and Asians, according to the East Hampton-based agency. "I think it's going to sound like the UN on Main Street," says Judi Desiderio, the agency's chief executive officer.
