Sag Harbor church will sell to Goldman Sachs giant

Hamptons.com reports that the United Methodist Church in Sag Harbor "voted by a 85 percent majority" to move ahead with plans to sell their historic building to Dennis Suskind, former Southampton Town councilman and a founding partner of Goldman Sachs. "The classic Greek Revival structure, built in 1836, which houses the Methodist Church, has been the focal point of a sometimes heated debate between preservationists and community members as possible sale of the building became more likely and renovation costs prohibitive," the site reports. In the meantime, Suskind is trying to sell his Morgan Hill Farm in Bridgehampton for $27 million. It's down the street from Kelsey and Camille Grammer's house. As Newsday reported first, that hosue is on the market $16.1 million.
