When you posted this article,did you just get off the special bus that brings you to work and go straight to your desk?
I was very aware that Newsday employes Idiots, but you take the cake on this one, candles and all.
If you knew anything about the Centre Island /Oyster Bay area, you would know that this could not possibly be anywhere near his house. Is there really no news for you to focus on?
The picture is in Bayville on the sound about 1.5 miles away from the house in question. If you knew Centre Island you'd understand it's pretty much impossible to get to any of the beaches in front of the houses except by boat. If you did try, since many homes have closed circuit surveillance, you'd be greeted by the groundskeeper or the local Centre Island Police. Check your facts next time.
