The Washington Post reports that Aerin Lauder -- who owns her grandmother Estée's East Hampton estate -- will be the cover girl in the final issue of House & Garden magazine. The headline of the December issue, which Conde Nast reported this week would be its last, will be "Never Go Out of Style." Lauder, who runs marketing and advertising for Estée Lauder and is launching a namesake perfume, is credited with bringing on part-time Amagansett resident Gwyneth Paltrow as a spokeswoman for the cosmetics corporation.
