
Earlier this week, we reported that former New York Jet Vinny Testaverde has listed his Oyster Bay Cove home for sale for $7 million.
Apparently, the Elmont native isn't going homeless any time soon. On Aug. 31, he closed on the purchase of a seven-bedroom, eight-bath home with an eight-car garage and three-story elevator in the Tampa area.
The Tampa Tribune reports that the home, for which Testaverde paid $4.5 million, broke the record as the highest-priced residential home purchase in Hillsborough County for 2007.
