Kings Point rental could set record

This six-bedroom, 4.5-bath brick Colonial in Kings Point is available for $25,000 a month. The house, built in 1927, is on four acres facing Manhasset Bay and a freshwater pond. It has a tennis court, a pool and a dock. Listing agent Vivi Rosin of June Shapiro Laffey Associates says it should be seen as an alternative to the Hamptons. "It's great for entertaining," she says, but closer to the city. The record for a Great Neck rental is $10,000 a month, says Rosin, but that house was smaller on a smaller piece of property.

I'm sure whoever rents it does so with taxpayers dollars.
