I am no staunch supporter of this administration however I am always mystified when I hear someone make some of the comments that you wrote. I hear you say we are in Iraq for the oil. If that is indeed your claim I wonder if you could share with me some concrete evidence to support that fact. Do you have any statistics are reliable sources that can back that statement up? I am curious. I heard it's sad that we were in Kuwait for the oil. How did we get any oil from Kuwait? We didn't.

You said killing of civilians without a second thought. Now if you were to mean that Saddam killed tens of thousands of his people without second thought I could understand that statement. You're suggesting that our sons, friends, daughters, husbands, are participating in killing innocent people without giving it a second thought. I can't imagine that you mean that.You might want to rethink that statement.

It is also strange to me that you would say that the terrorists do not hate our freedom. Odd thing to say. It leads me to ask you the question do you understand the philosophy and practices of the terrorists that want to see you and I dead so they can get to heaven and meet their virgins. If you understand how these extremist Muslims function in their society you would know they suppress freedom among their own people. If you understand this I am a loss to understand why you did not think they hate our freedom. You say they hate our corporate greed. They are intolerant of any ideas other than their own.

To John: I dont know what rock you've been under for the last 8 years, but the Constitution and Bill of Rights were thrown out a long time ago, right along with rationality and common sense.

The Muslims live in a dillusional bubble that is their religion. Most of america lives in a dillusional bubble that is christianity. The world has been killing one another over differences in their dillusional beliefs for thousands of years. Now combined with that the tribal differences of suinis, shiites, and kurds that have been waring for a dozen centuries and you get the problems we see in the middle east. Combined with that the unpravoked attack of Iraq by a country believed by Muslims to be one of the worlds great oppressors and you have one hell of a mess. Now you must understand that these peoples are not going to fight a conventional war (they would not stand a chance) but a gorilla war that they can continue indefenently. In 1948 England with the backing of the US stuck it's nose into issues in the west bank and here 50 years latter we are no closer to settling those issues. Until we all see with perfect clarity and admitt that Muhamid didn't really ride a magic horse and that the story of Mary is just the retelling of the pegan story of Icess 1800 years earlier we will never find peace on earth.

You don't have to dig very deep to see that this Mission NOT acomplish (war) was driven by personal interests and not the interest of the American People or the World. People like us didn't get a contract but the Bush Cheney cicrle did.

PLEASE - can people go to the polls in droves and negate the votes of John and Roy, and their ilk? Can we vote "smart" this time, for a change?
By their comments, it's easy to see which "news" outlets these people get their information from, what radio/TV stations they listen to.
How rich white men, and their parroting media talking heads, can convince Americans to vote against their own best interests, time after time, is beyond me.
