I like your cartoon. My heart is broken. I've been a Yankees fan since 1956. I met Mickey Mantle and Yogi Berra. That was it!!! I am very upset with Joe Torre leaving. I feel like the "Family" is breaking up.
Get over your nostalgia. Mickey is dead and Yogi's Alzheimers is deja vu all over again. I'm from LaLa land. Its our turn to field Joe Torre and develop a new dynasty. Blame RICO and not us for breaking up the N.Y.family!
Torre was GREAT but the history of the Yanks shows promise in the deciasions they make. Trust Girardi, he is young and will relate to the young players well. New's today say's AROD is coming back, we will need his 150 RBI's that is for sure. Rebuilding? Maybe, but if this is rebuilding, lord help MLB when the Yanks are done.
I was born and raised in Da Bronx and live not so far from the stadium..
I cant understand why they want to build a new stadium just across the street..Thats insane.
That was the house that Ruth built...Its where the great ledgends
played way back when...I feel by moving it, we are doomed.
Infact I feel a sense of doom, knowing torre leaving, but then again
he did make alot of bad calls by putting in certian pitchers, when
he should of left them alone when they were doing good..
A-Rod is only coming back to the yankees, because no one else can afford what hes asking for..
Who knows how the season will do this year..hopefully better with new guys like Jabba..I like that jabba guy..
oh well..we will see what happens next year with the new manager..
