Huntington forum on Wall Street bailout
The bailout may cost $700 billion, but the forum to talk about it will be free.
Representatives of the McCain and Obama campaign will join others to answer questions and hear comments Thursday night in Huntington at a forum on the plans for a Wall Street bailout, according to the Long Island Progressive Coalition, which is sponsoring the event.
It is to take place at 7 p.m. in the auditorium of the Huntington Library, 338 Main Street.
This will be the 61st in the coalition’s monthly “Patriot Games” series of videos and discussions.
Presenting for the candidates will be: Mark Zablocki of the “McCain Leadership Committee;” Jon Cooper, LI coordinator for the Obama Campaign; and Roger Snyder, chair of the Green Party of Suffolk
The series is produced by the coalition’s Huntington Chapter, which has regular meetings on the third Tuesday of each month at the Cinema Arts Center. For further info, call (516) 541-1006 ext. 10.

Thank you for advertising the forum. It was well attended and informative. And, there was a lot of discussion about the Wall Street Bailout.
Below are two videos. One is a 10minute youtube with clips about the bailout. The other one is a long video of the whole forum and audience questions.
Please feel free to post or publish at Newsday.
Thanks,
Kimberly Wilder
