Walt Whitman High School's four language honor societies inducted new members this week. Mrs. Gala Handler, the languages department chair, led the ceremony that included musical performances by singers Scott Bromschwig and Lauren Varolian and members of the freshman choir, directed by Judith Leopold.
Four students, Lisa Farmer, Chelsea Farco, Jason Freed and Ralph Miranda, made presentations on behalf of their organizations.
