The town’s Zoning Board of Appeals meets tonight at 6 to consider these applications:
Centerport: Maurice Cormac Barrett seeks a front-yard variance to legalize house, remove second story, build new second-story side addition, remove side and rear retaining walls, build new walls closer than 5 feet to side, replace wood retaining walls in rear, build detached garage in front yard and legalize sea wall, east side of McKinley Terrace, north of Adams Street.
Centerport: Jonathan and Vanessa Vandor seek a front-yard variance to amend building plot No. 070676 to remove existing house and build a new house on existing foundation, northeast corner of Valley Lane and Woodland Drive.
Dix Hills: Diana Morano LaSpisa, Morano Expediting, seeks a side-yard variance to build an unheated sunroom with an addition with basement underneath, west side of Candlewood Path North, south of Vanderbilt Parkway.
East Northport: Lauren Sabatini seeks long-street side yard, rear- and side-yard variances to build a two-story addition with unfinished basement area and a wrap-around porch to existing letter in lieu house, the northeast corner of First Avenue and Third Street.
East Northport: Omnipoint Communications, Inc., in care of Amato and Associates, seeks a special-use permit to install six antennas mounted within an RF-compatible 80-foot monopole and 1 GPS navigation system unit attached to proposed equipment cabinet and construction of 14, 33-foot by 34.33-foot equipment areas, north side of Brightside Avenue, east of Larkfield Road.
Greenlawn: Joan L. Sullivan, care of Roger Ramme, Esq., seeks a special-use permit for legalization of partial dormer on west side of house, interior alterations conversion of detached garage to accessory storage space, conversion of roofed-over front porch to habitable space and conversion of single-family house to two-family, south side of Boulevard Avenue, east of Broadway.
Huntington: Carrie A. Doris seeks front- and side-yard variance to convert existing one-car garage to living space and build a new two-car attached garage leaving a front yard of 40.3 feet instead of the required 50 feet and side yard of 15.11 feet, east side of Briarfield Lane, north of Turtle Cove Lane.
