Police: Laptop stolen from Dix Hills home

  • A car was broken into yesterday on Tulipwood Drive and the navigation system was stolen.

  • A resident on Cedar Road said her fence was damaged by vandals yesterday.

  • A set of golf clubs was stolen yesterday from a store on Veterans Memorial Highway.

    Dix Hills

  • A car was broken into yesterday on Jericho Turnpike and the owner said money was taken.

  • A laptop computer was taken during a burglary yesterday at a house on Deer Park Road. The police report said entry was made through a window.

    Huntington Station

  • A driver-side window was broken on a Perillo Brothers work van in the Home Depot parking lot on New York Avenue yesterday, and tools and supplies were stolen.

    Melville

  • A resident on Priory Court called police yesterday after she found a T-shirt soaked with gasoline in her mailbox.
