Huntington’s Zoning Board of Appeals meets tonight at 6 to consider these applications:
Centerport: James DeLuca / DeLuca Designs seeks side-yard variances to remove 18-foot by 18-foot detached structure (letter in lieu) and build a two-story addition for two-car garage with storage above on south side of house and second-story addition to north side for master suite, east side of Lakeside Drive, south of Westfield Drive.
Centerport: Karen Barbaro seeks side-yard and accessory-structure variances to legalize four front retaining walls, addition to rear retaining wall, side deck, remove second story, build second story and balcony and legalize second-story balcony and second-story addition, Harding Court, north of McKinley Terrace.
East Northport: Christopher Galbraith seeks a front- and side-yard variance to build a front addition to existing two-car garage and front-foyer extension and build screened porch on the east side, south side of Cedrus Avenue, east of Richee Drive.
Halesite: New York Avenue Clam Bar Corp., care of Anthony Censoplano, seeks a special-use permit to convert existing beauty salon to restaurant on subject premises and utilize municipal parking instead of parking on-site, New York Avenue.
Huntington: Scott Krivosheiw seeks steep-slope relief to build a 747-square-foot addition to 1,343-square-foot single-family house where maximum allowable building footprint is 1,382 square feet, west side of Southdown Road, west of LaRue Drive.
Huntington Station: Karmel Suarez seeks front- and side-yard variances to convert to a two-family house and request hardship exemption, west side of Miller Place, north of East 16th Street.
Huntington Station: BAB Realty Llc seeks renewal of Zoning Board of Appeals grant 17348 to apply to Planning Board to subdivide two existing parcels into five new lots, store autos for Habberstad Sales on proposed lot three, requires special-use permit and business-depth extension lot four and five require lot-width relief, west side of Dix Hills Road, north of Jericho Turnpike.
Melville: Katherine George seeks to legalize existing above-ground swimming pool with attached decking, detached gazebo with hot tub and detached shed in front yard, southwest corner of Chateau Boulevard and Conklin Avenue.
