Former president coming to Huntington to sign books

Booker.JPGFormer President Bill Clinton will be coming to Huntington a week from Sunday.

The Book Revue has announced that he’ll be visiting the store to sign copies of his new book, “Giving: How Each of Us Can Change The World.” beginning at 2:30 that afternoon.

The book is described by the store as “an inspiring look at how individual endeavors can save lives and solve problems, and it offers compelling examples of citizen activism at work in the world today.”

The store also said that a portion of Clinton's proceeds from the book will be donated to charities and nonprofits.

The store, which has played host to Rosie O’Donnell and Tiki Barber in recents weeks and is featuring an evening with Cousin Brucie next week, announced some restrictions for the visit. They are:

  • President Clinton will sign one copy of Giving per person. He will not have time to sign any other books, memorabilia, etc.
  • Bags and other personal items will not be permitted in Book Revue during the event.
  • This includes, but is not limited to, cameras, pens, photos, other books, gifts, phones, etc.
