Police: $20,000 jewelry theft reported in Huntington

  • A driver-side window was found broken yesterday on a car on Griggs Drive.

    Huntington

  • A resident on Willow Avenue reported today the theft of her jewelry from her home. She valued the items at more that $20,000.

    Huntington Station

  • A woman was caught stealing clothes yesterday from the Lord & Taylor store on Walt Whitman Road.

  • The owner of a 1998 Toyota Corolla said it was stolen yesterday on New York Avenue.

  • The security personnel at the K-Mart store on New York Avenue said they caught a man stealing anti-freeze yesterday.

    Melville

  • A resident on Newtown Lane said items were stolen from his yard yesterday.

  • The New York State Department of Transportation told police yesterday that trespassers had broken through a chain link fence at the recharge basin on the South Service Road of the LIE east of Old East Neck Road.
